Beginning at six weeks your baby’s first year of life is an amazing time, filled with discovery and enormous growth. What he or she learns early in life will be critical to success in school, relationships and life.
It can be difficult to leave your infant in someone else’s care and be confident that he or she will get the same care and stimulation you would give him. Kid’s Arena Academy will help to put your mind at ease. Our experienced and qualified teachers will take care of their daily needs and will help stimulate your baby’s cognitive, emotional, and physical development.
Between 18 months and two years old, your toddler is asserting his or her independence in new ways every day. It’s exciting, rewarding, and challenging to watch. We recognize that children at this age may be at very different stages of development. Some may have just started walking, while others are already exploring the world around them. Regardless of your child’s development, we can accommodate your child.
Watching a two year old can be fun and exhausting. Children in these age groups are filled with energy and curiosity about the world and the new sense of increasing independence. Our structured program will provide guidance that your child needs throughout his day as she learns to share, get along with others and perform tasks that require a longer attention span.
Our school agers want to feel all grown up, yet they still crave comfort and security. Our teachers provide a balance of organized and self-selected activities, all in a positive, supportive atmosphere. Parents can have a peace of mind knowing that their child is safe and having fun all while doing their homework, enjoying an afternoon snack and having fun.
At Kid’s Arena Academy, we have an excellent summer program. Most summer camps offer plenty of play, but how many prepare your child for school readiness while creating joyful and lasting summer memories? We combine songs, stories, exploration, physical activities, and learning adventures in a safe, nurturing environment. We will explore areas such as: science and nature, arts and crafts, etiquette, computers, literature and language, music and movement, sports and games, fun and fitness and cooking.
Conscious Discipline for Teachers
Conscious Discipline integrates social-emotional learning, discipline and self-regulation so you spend less time policing behaviors and more time teaching vital life skills.
Conscious Discipline is a longtime leader in integrating classroom management and social-emotional learning. It utilizes everyday events rather than an external curriculum, and addresses the adult's emotional intelligence as well as the child's.
Learn to respond to daily conflict in a way that transforms it into an opportunity to teach critical life skills, and watch every aspect of your classroom life improve!
Conscious Discipline is evidence-based, and was named as a national model for character education by the Florida State Legislature.
